"You first," she replied, making no move to get up.

Trax's expression change from playful to questioning.  What exactly are you up to?

He looked at her for a few seconds before sitting up.

[OOC: Unless Nim intervenes Trax will be getting at least partially dressed to go for a shower.]

She saw the questioning look. "Meh. Lazy."

Having stood up Trax slipped on a pair of pants before turning and looking down at Nim.

"That's too bad," he began.

"I was going to have a shower and wanted to ask if you'd care to join me."

Nim sat up at that.

"Damn, woman, I just gave you sweet lovin' five minutes ago!"

But then she grinned and started getting up. "Alright fiiine."

OOC: RIP Isaac Hayes (mildly nsfw but it's south park, you know better)

Even more time later...

Trax and Nim stood outside the door to the captain's quarters.  Trax's original excuse for coming here was in a search for a drink, but in reality, he wanted to see Rand.  Between all the time he'd spent recovering from his own injuries and looking after Nim, he felt guilty about not having spoken with Rand until now, assuming they were allowed in.

Trax checked a sigh, guilt, yet another thing he'd never...well, almost never, felt about anything until recently.  He hit the panel by the door, setting of a 'ding' on the other side.

Nim just waited quietly for the door to open. She too hadn't spoken to the woman in some time, probably the last time she'd helped her in the medbay between bacta dunks. Being in the position that Nim had been in the past few weeks made it awkward, and embarrassing. Rand would be able to read her well past Lorrdian status at present time. It was strange for Nim, but she actually cared what Rand thought of her.
