"Looks like it might be a bad one. You might be able to climb above it before it threw you into the mountain, but I wouldn't try it." He smiles and laughs good-naturedly. He waves at some more folks hanging out by the door, and they move in and start to activate some equipment around the perimeter of the landing platform. By the time you reach the door, the wind has already chilled all of you. You glance back, and see some beam emitters have activated, and they appear to have tarctorered your ship to hold it secure against the wind.
Ducking inside, you feel the warmth hit you. They must have the heat turned up in this room to combat the wind.
Lieutenant Cleagre pulls off his gloves, hood and goggles before turning to you. He is a tall, handsome-looking man with a face that looks younger than he probably is, with dark skin and short, curly hair. He smiles as he takes off his coat and shakes the snow off it before hanging it on a hook by the door.
"Yeah, we've been watching this one build for a bit. We were about to secure the landing pads when you popped up on our sensors. Not many people fly in this weather - well, not many with good intentions anyway." He smiles again.
He seems genuine, and is very happy to see you.
One of the others in the room - a younger male, probably not more than 20, with a short beard and shaggy blonde hair, says, "You're from the Rebellion, right? How many planets? How big is your fleet? Are there others like us?"
Cleagre gives him a good-natured slug in the shoulder. "Cool it, Tyle. She didn't come here to be drooled on." The younger man looks at Cleagre and then to you. "Sorry. Ma'am. We're just..."
Cleagre cuts him off. "...Excited. Yeah. Why don't you go secure Pad 12, before that shuttle blows away?"
The young man gets serious. "Right. Sorry, sir." He turns to you. "Sorry ma'am." He then shrugs into a coat and heads out the door.
C;eagre says, "Come this way. You'll have to excuse some of the folks here - that speech you guys broadcast got everyone pretty riled up. Some of them haven't come down off the adrenaline yet." He leads you down a corridor to a lift.
