Want a list here. Whoa re you taking?
Geneva is out of the picture.
-
I'm guessing that Mariah and Geneva are our best slicers? If so, seeing as Geneva is out Trax would like to take Mariah. If she's not available either then another NPC that has a similar skill set.
-
Mariah is #1, yeah. Wyrren Doha. Anyone else?
-
Someone with intel type skills. Trax isn't exactly the sharpest when it comes to conning or detecting cons. That would be it, I think the smaller number the better. If Doha is on the level then he'll likely be able to fill a bit of a universal roll. If he isn't he'll fill a bit of a body bag. >:D
-
OK, give me a bit to dig someone up.
-
No rush.
Oh, one other thing, would Trax be able to get his hands on any KDF funds to cover expenses along the way? He wouldn't ask for a specific number, but enough to cover 2 weeks worth of travel related expenses and a bit extra to cover a bribe or two just in case. He'll be bringing his own along as well. My last count had him at just under 4400.
-
Yeah, they'll find you.
-
Harrison Ford? ::)
-
What, not star wars enough for you? :)
-
Oh crap, it would be SO funny if this pilot was Han Solo. Is he wearing a white shirt with a black vest?
-
I think we're a few years before his time.
-
Nah, Han was operating long before events in Episode IV. He even did a stint in the Empire.

2K per head sounds like a bargaining starting point. How far is it and how long would the trip take?
-
Depends on the route he takes to get there. If he follows the main trade lanes, it's three jumps, so maybe a day or so. It could be weeks if he takes routes off the beaten path.
He also might have a hyper-accurate pirate route or something that could get you there in hours.
-
I know there are rules about combining actions for multiple characters to get bonus dice to skill and damage rolls, but can a single character do the same thing? What I'm thinking is that with 2 pistols, can Trax take two shots (with MAP of course), and instead of having 2 to hit rolls, have 1 to hit roll and up the damage?
-
Yes, you can combine the shots from both pistols (effectively giving you one attack roll and one damage roll). Doing so gives you either +2 on the attack roll, or +2 on the damage roll.
Narrative-wise, you place / time your shots to give you a benefit - either both shots hitting the same spot to try and increase damage, or fire a "spread" of shots to better the odds of you hitting a target. Numerically, it would only really be beneficial for tough opponents.

CEC YG-4210 transport.
It's 24 meters long. I'll add more once / if you get on board.
-
"Pew pew"! HA! Oh hell, my stomach hurts . . .
-
You forgot the cat pic...
-
What's missing is a clip from the Big Bang Theory when Bernadette is playing a starwars rpg with the guys and saying "pew pew" :)
-
Oh, boy . . . what if the gangster in question is Plovoo Two-For-One? Messing with him twice is gonna start a fun furball . . .
-
Darren, you jerk. ;)
-
Ooooo, called it! Soooooooo called it!
Oh . . . oh, frak me. :(
-
Where was the meeting location, on planet or on one of the stations?
-
One of the stations. How about Avvin Station?
-
[OOC: Would the gunsmith have any specialization in creating fake licenses to carry those "wholly legitimate weapons"? Love that by the way. :)]
-
I stole the quote from the SW:TOR MMO. On a smuggler character, you meet your trainer through another NPC, who offers you a business meeting. Your character replies, "I wouldn't mind meeting some like-minded individuals?to maybe discuss some wholly legitimate business practices."
The gunsmith only makes the weapons, but you know a docker who can forge licenses and the like.
-
I'll head to A'ka Bem first to find out of there's a bounty on any of them outside the Karvis system.
