Greetings folks.
From this point forward, the Raid of Horuz is going to get intense, and escalate quickly. In a tabletop game, on occasion when things get tense, the GM would disallow any OOC discussion at the table, and press people for rapid responses to situations. I'd like to do something similar here. I have two proposals:
1. I'd like to shorten the posting time down to maximum three days (or less).
2. Any interaction between you must be done in-character. The intent is to increase the tension, so I'd ask you not communicate in-game information to each other either via the forums or through PM's. I can't stop you from sending PM's of course, and I'll keep the OOC forum open for reactions and such, but I'll ask you not to provide suggestions, or discuss courses of action in an OOC manner. Feel free to react to each other's actions - if you see someone doing something you think is a hugely bad idea, you can try and stop them, for example, giving up your action to attempt it.
These proposals are presented as separate yet complimentary items. I'm looking for acceptance from all of you for either or both of them. Please indicate your agreement or disagreement below. Questions will be entertained.

Sounds good. Can you give some guidelines /rules regarding IC communication? I believe we all have comms now.

Yeah, you all have comlinks. Anything not integrated or attached would be an action to use, however, unless you just keep the channel open and keep then somewhere near your mouth.
I believe Keshani, Niil, Collan, Ch'lana and Nim all have hand-held models. Nightshade and Trax have helmet-integrated units.

I assumed they were all hand held when Trax gave his comm to Keshani. But we can just start yelling really loudly in most situations. :)
1. For posts on a Friday, can we have Monday night/Tuesday morning as the cut off please? Connie works Saturdays and we use Sundays for our errands etc which would make it very hard for me to post those days.

I gave trax my hand held and am using the wristcomp or buzz. I didn't know trax had a helmet.
Also I grabbed a trooper helmet earlier so I could eavesdrop on their comms. Just haven't had a moment IC to check into it.

Ok, once I get a "Go" from everyone in the other OOC thread, both proposals will become active. You're free to ask me questions, but keep all communication between each other in-character.
Remember non-integrated comlink use counts as an action, unless you pin it somewhere and keep the channel open.

So now that I am gainfully unemployed along with 150+ of my coworkers do I have additional rights to pester people to post? Need SOME source of entertainment now that I don't have to put up with the daily circus that was the fiasco of this school year up until this point...

I'm waiting to get confirmation from Nim that Kesh is deaf, if Nim decides to share that. Kesh is obviously having hearing issues, but the extent of which I don't think is obvious from her just speaking louder.

Thanks, going very well. Just orientation crap. Old torturous videos from the turn if the century and hipaa and egh. Class starts tomorrow.

Haha. The one instructor I taught with ALWAYS started out class with a couple of those and then went into the history of EMS.
Of course, I'm too young to have seen them as originals. .. :D

I have no idea yet but probably :P it'll be a short day since the afternoon will be BLS for those of us that need it still. But there went my Thurs and Friday, and possibly Saturday. They're determined to get us driving the NEVs as soon as possible. 0430 shift is gonna be brutal..
