Don't stand in front of the door when the charge goes off ... seems simple to me ...

Sort of like don't stand on top of the truck when it crashes.  You'd think it would be common sense ;D

Or, more to the point, don't cling tenaciously to the exterior of a speeder when there's a maniac at the wheel. *cough*Jex*Cough*

So, does this mean Mariah stayed with the Specs?

If so, feel free to jump in. She'd be a little late to the departure bay, and wearing clunky armour and carrying a big (for her) rifle, and hauling a box of tools and toys with her.

Haha. I think they let her off the hook, saying that they were deeply disappointed and that they would be watching her. Or something...She is a cute kid afterall.. :-P

No, as I recall, Trax use some of his hero power to get you guys off the hook, mostly. But they did make it clear they were going to be keeping an eye on her.

They found out that Mariah had been feeding information to Cali Oman, a major underworld figure on Karvis.

Anyway, feel free to jump in on the New Ally thread.

Toys = various toolkits, a computer spike, a security spike, three grenades, some spare blaster packs, that kind of thing.

Craig, can I assume she got info on the briefing or did she miss it totally?

Just wondering how to work it cuz I don't know if any of the plan would have changed if a techie was there with them....?

I'll post tonight if the lovely citizens of my township refrain from dialing those magical 9-1-1 numbers long enough to allow me to once this is clarified :-)

She'd have gotten a separate briefing from Major Tibbero, just her, with him underlining how they're trusting her on this, and it's critical secrecy be preserved. He didn't give you much time to get ready, and you had to grab your tools, that's why you're rushing in late.
