Quick question - would you guys be using active sensors while you're travelling? Or going passive?

Active lets you see much better, are less likely to be ambushed, but broadcasts your position. Passive means you're mostly blind, easier to ambush, but harder to spot.

Going passive.  I'd rather not advertise our position.  We'll have to hope that the macrobinoculars will offset chances of people getting the drop on us.  That, and try to avoid obvious bottlenecks/blind spots as much as we can.

Can a blaster pistol be set to overload and used as a crude grenade?

It's take a technical roll to make it work.

Ha, so in short Niil would probably blow himself and Collan sky-high.   ;D  So much for that idea.

Okay, important adventuring reminder.  Bring at least a pair of grenades next time.

Didn't you guys take public transit to get to the blade sea?  If so, Connor should be thankful he got his HBP through, grenades wouldn't have been possible.

Dang, was that, like, a scene right out of The Road Warrior, or what?   ;D

Both drivers badly fumbled their drive rolls.

Good thing that one of them didn't shoot our tires, then . . .  ;D

So yeah, we'll drive on for another half a kilometer and - if we're not being followed - Collan will stop and I'll hop back in and we can boogie on.

I don't suppose there's anything that passes for a main road out here?  Or at least another set of crawler tracks that we could mesh our trail with?  Also, about how far away are we from that town that Jeremy was hiding out in?

No roads, really. You guys might find a settlement on the way, but it's a long drive to the next town.

Wouldn't a better plan be for one of you to take the stim and let the other sleep?  That way you don't risk both crashing at the same time.

Ha!  Actually, I was leaving work when I gave myself that same smack to the head.  Oh well, I guess the damage is done.

I saw Ken's post but figured Collan (who's never used a stim) would do it because he didn't know...
