[Don't think Trax has actively lied to Collan before so he'll tske him at his word.]

"I still took it as my duty to see her to a medbay, Trax," he told the bounty hunter as he followed the man.

"Once that's done, I'll leave," Collan informed the big man.

"I know, I know, I'm an asshat." He said to the woman.

"You can tear me a new one for it later."

"No, now!" she yelled back and hit Trax as hard as she could in the nose.

Trax was about to reply to Collan when Nim's punch caught him in the nose. He blinked a few times as his vision blurred partially. He could feel the warm trickle of blood start to pour from his nose, and he reflexively sniffed.

"Okay, then do it now. Might want to take another swing or two, it's not broken yet."

Nim's punch brought Collan up short, not that he was afraid to continue but clearly those two needed to discuss things...aggressively.

"Actually, looks like you two need a private convo. I'll leave you to that on the promise you get to medbay on the rogue."

And then Collan went back to the meeting.

Nim looked at him with narrowed eyes behind the visor, pausing for a second as if debating, and then swung again. It was an awkward punch, being in his arms, but with no resistance it met with a satisfying crunch.

Trax stumbled to one knee as the pain shot through his face, his vision first going dark and then filled with bright lights. Now he could feel the blood pouring freely from his nose and soaking the front of his shirt. Taking a few seconds to collect himself he let it a grunt as he stood up and began walking again.

That's right, focus that aggression on me he thought to himself. Let it out until you're to tired to try and hurt yourself.

"It's probably only broken in one spot. Think you can do any better?" he asked as he moved up the ramp of the shuttle.

[OOC: If this is to be continued should probably move it to one of the personal boards so we stop hijacking this one.]

As Trax goes to stand up, he sees the lithe form of Maris standing between him and Nim.

"Hey! Blaster-brain! The lady obviously does not want your company right now." She reaches down and takes Nim by the arm, helping her to her feet.

"I'll look after her. All you're doing is making her angrier and bleeding all over her."

[OOC: Trax was actually physically carrying Nim, but we can assume Maris helps her out of his arms if Nim allows it.  I won't post much, I'll let Nim decide what happens.]

"You don't understand." he said to the zabrak woman.

"Thanks," Nim mumbled to Maris as she took her arm, a little weirded out at how she appeared out of nowhere. The only way it could have been better is if Maris had decked him too.

Maris heads to the Rogue Shadow, Nim in tow. But she calls over her shoulder to Trax, "No, it's you who doesn't understand."

Quietly, she says, "It's OK, I got you."

Nim didn't reply, but she did turn and stick out her tongue at Trax.

Collan saw Maris take Nim from Trax's arms. Maris was good people, no matter her gruff exterior. Collan didn't think his interference would be effective with Trax and Nim had seemed healthy enough to throw two very decent punches and break the man's nose.

Stifling a sigh, Collan went back over to Trax. He always carried a medpac now.

"Want me to take a look at that?" He asked the bounty hunter.

Trax would have preferred Nim hit him again.  Despite telling himself it wasn't really her that was acting this way, the look she gave him as she walked away with Maris still hurt.

"It's just a broken nose, I'll be fine." Trax said with a weary sigh, the anger and coldness from the tone he'd used previously when talking to Collan was gone.  There was mostly exhaustion in his voice.

His eyes followed the two women as they headed up the ramp, which was when he finally stood up to follow and entered the shuttle.  As he neared the medbay door he watched as PROXY left.

No, damn it... Trax thought as he reached the door ready to pound on the panel to open it.  But instead he just closed his eyes and took a few steps back until he hit the opposite wall and then slid down to sit on the cold floor.

Don't let her hurt herself.  Please...

Collan had followed Trax in. The bounty hunter clearly worried. It was clear he loved Nim a great deal or cared for her deeply. Poor bastard. Whatever she was going through was putting him through the ringer.

Collan was leaning against the bulkhead when Trax slid. His brown duster spilling over his legs, hiding the gray shirt underneath.

"You must love her a lot," Collan commented.

Niil returned to the house within an hour, and gave the senators and General Kota a short bow.  "My apologies for my absence, senators, General Kota.  I've spoken to Nightshade, and he's expressed his desire to return to Karvis at his earliest opportunity."  Niil smiled faintly, and added, "I'd like to ask for a little more of your time, if you'd not find it presumptuous of me to ask.  I need to prepare a short message for the Karvis resistance to explain Nightshade's mission, and to vouch for his honor and trustworthiness.  For security reasons, I'll of course mention nothing about what happened at Horuz, nor our present or future whereabouts and plans.  I also have to provide Nightshade with details of the Karvis safe houses and compounds, which he will commit to memory en route."

Niil paused for a moment, then said, "If . . . I might make a suggestion . . . would you consent to creating a recording for the people of Karvis?  I think that the declaration of the creation of the Rebel Alliance would have a definite impact with them, and I'd also say that a brief message of encouragement to the people of Karvis would go a long way to bolster their spirits and a sense of hope."
