"Doesn't sound stupid, sounds like it was important to you. And sounds like it's still a bit of a sore spot. I get that, and I get the desire for pay back. I understand that very well actually." Trax paused, and for a moment his eyes almost seemed far away. He blinked and focused on Keshani again.
"Don't ever let anyone tell you what or how you feel is stupid or wrong. Decisions can be both, feelings are never either."
A look of pain briefly flashed across the man's face. For a moment, he could have sworn it was Mariah sitting on the floor. He gave his head a bit of a shake before standing up. The room suddenly felt very small and he needed to get out.
"There's not much of value in the bag as you've seen. Mostly clothes and the two pistols. But there is a cred stick with about 1600 credits on it. You can just leave everything, I'll clean it up later. Just don't go into the back pack okay? That's Nim's stuff."
It only took a few steps for him to get to the door where he took a deep breath before turning around.
"Next time you want to talk, just find me okay. I won't promise we'll play that game again, but if you have questions, ask. If the answer is something I'm willing to share I will. If it isn't, I'll say so. But never be scared or worried about asking."
