The only things Trax is interested in is ditching his imperial pistols (I'm assuming the serial numbers can be traced) and looking to pick up some 'clean' ones, and getting new IDs.

I was thinking of talking with Major Antilles about that later, not sure if the feast would be the appropriate venue for seeking out a contact(s) for that sort of thing.

That is a good question...would it be within the scope of good etiquette to be chatting up business deals at a celebration such as this?  Don't want to seem rude.

That is exactly the sorts of activity that happen in the little knots of conversation. If you want to try and establish contacts on Alderaan, this is the place to do it.

Alderaan got rid of their weapons after the Clone Wars ended. You're not going to find much in the way of lethal weapons on Alderaan. They have armour, and non-lethal weapons like stuns ticks and ion blasters. But not heavy blaster pistols. There is a (small) black market on the planet, but it's going to be difficult to make contact with.
