Collan wondered why Trax was hostile to the stranger. Clearly something had transpired between them in the past. But the better was...why was he here?

"Okaaay. But how did you get here? And why are you here?"

The old man keeps his hands raised, and speaks in a calm tone. "Jeremy Wilton is safe and in hiding, the last I saw him." He glances at Collan, but his eyes return to Trax, probably as he seems the most aggressive. "After your assault team captured the shuttle, I stowed away on board. I had hoped it would take me to the prison ship, as I have a pressing engagement on board, and stowing away on your captured shuttle might enable me to make my appointment. When I came out of the shuttle, I found myself here instead of where I needed to be."

"Not where you needed to be?  You poor thing." Trax replied, with no small amount of sarcasm, along with a good measure of anger in his voice.  But despite still harboring some amount of frustration over what had happened the last time he ran across the old man, his anger now was solely in regards to what had transpired in the captain's office.

The presence of the old man brought forth two major issues as far as the spec could tell.  First, how the man knew about the mission to capture the shuttle in the first place, and of course how he got by the capture team and actually got on the shuttle.  It was more curiosity for him than anything but he was pretty sure Command would care a lot about that one.

And the second, who was on that ship that he wanted to 'meet'.  He knew it was an important question and one he should care more about than he did.  But at this moment it made little difference to him.  They still had to deal with whatever was going on over on the prison ship and it was an answer he could get after they'd secured it.  Letting out a sigh he rubbed his temples.

"You want a ride to your appointment, talk to him." Trax motioned to Niil, his voice suddenly sounding tired.  Turning to Niil he spoke again.

"But make it quick.  I need to shoot someone soon."  Trax started walking to the shuttle.  "And maybe a drink..." he said to himself.

Collan added, "And why do I get the feeling your appointment might be related to us?"

He half nods, half cocks his head. "If it does have to do with you, it is only tangentially. Once we land, we can go our separate ways. I will not interfere with you, and I ask you not interfere with me."

Niil's question went unanswered as Trax stalked off.  Letting out his breath in an exasperated hiss, he turned to the stranger with.  "Okay, I'd really like some answers here.  You decided to sneak on board our shuttle  - and yes, I'll ask later how the hell you managed to do that without any of us seeing you - and now you want to tag along on a vital mission with us?"  Niil cocked his head and smiled; he was somewhat amused at the man's serenity.  "I'll bite, then.  Can you give me a good reason, sir why I shouldn't just turn you over to our commander and have you locked in the brig until . . ."

Niil's voice trailed away.  Wait one malfing moment.  Jex and Trax had been on a hunt in the Bladesea during one of Niil's absences.  He didn't usually listen too intently to their bounty hunting stories since in general he despised the profession, but there was something about one of those stories that was ringing a big, bloody bell here.  Jeremy Wilton . . . and an older man in a cantina that made Trax and Jex back off without even attacking them.  What had made them backpedal?

They saw that the old man had held a cylindrical object in his hand.

Niil's eyes widened, and he took a step back.  "How in the name of the Force did you manage to stay so well-hidden for so long?"

Collan was a little lost...but Niil mentioned the Force and hiding...could it be? He waited....silently. He might know his uncle...or his father. Or at least something about them...

The old man stops for a moment, as if considering.

"My hiding, the length of it, and my reasons for doing so are irrelevant to the current situation. I am not your enemy." He pauses a moment before adding, "Trust your feelings."

He pauses to give his words additional weight.

"Allow me to accompany you to the prison ship. The troops that remain there have the means to contact the Imperial Fleet. The longer we stand here discussing this decision, the greater the danger that we will both fail to achieve our objectives."

He pauses for a moment, glancing at Trax before looking back at Niil. "Many lives hang in the balance. You must decide quickly, or the decision will be taken out of your hands."

His manner and tone remain peaceful, despite the urgency of the words. He still has his hands up and has remained still.

Collan said, "If he is right, then we need to go. Now."

Also, he desperately wanted to ask about his family, but that didn't mention.

Niil stared intently into the stranger's eyes, weighing what he had heard about him and what he had just heard from him.  Was he an Imperial spy?  No.  If he was, he was able to sneak on board the shuttle and remain undetected.  It wouldn't have taken much for him to detonate an explosive and take all of them out in one fell swoop.  Was the old man a fraud, then?  Was he using the Force to influence Niil's thoughts?  Possibly, but he didn't think so.  Something about this man that reminded him of Master Dhoresh; that pool of unflappable calm and reason.  Niil honestly didn't feel like this stranger was a threat to them.

Trust your feelings, he said.  Yes, he'd head that many times from Master Dhoresh, too.

Letting out a sigh, Niil motioned to the waiting shuttle.  "All right, let's go, then.  But sooner or later we need to sit down and talk about . . . things."

[OOC: taking a few liberties.]

He lowers his hands. "If fate allows..." is all he says.

"You may call me Ch'lana." Without another word, he climbs aboard the shuttle.

The name does not ring any bells.

In less than 2 minutes you are loaded and under way.

As you emerge from the belly of the corvette, the massive bulk of the prison ship looms in the dark. It has no visible external lights, and you can only see it as a hole in space with no stars.

Four Y-wing fighters patrol the area, and you can see the detached bridge section drifting helpless some distance away.

As you approach, you establish contact with the boarding party, and they direct you to an airlock near their position. Ch'lana shakes his head. "No, that won't do. All the airlocks are rigged with explosives. They will detonate when you attempt to dock. We need to find someplace else... bring it around to the left and bring us in close."

You pilot glances at Niil, who gives a quick, "Do it" to the pilot. The pilot looks like he is going to say something, but changes his mind, and only says, "Yes Sir."

As you come in close to the hull of the shop, Ch'lana peers out the viewport. A moment later he nods. "Yes, that will do nicely. Bring us in, right there between those two vents."

The pilot looks mildly alarmed, but does as he is told. Turning back to your team, Ch'lana calls out, "Someone stand by the emergency docking seal. When we touch down, activate it."

The voice speaks with such authority, the man to leaps to the ladder is halfway there before he pauses to question the order. He glances at Niil, who gives him a quiet nod. The trooper vanishes below.

A few seconds later there is a thump as the ship contacts the outer hull. A moment later, there is a grind and a whoosh of compressed gas as the landing claws and emergency airlock engage.

Ch'lana looks to Niil and nods towards the ladder. He speaks as you move to the entrance.

"When we get inside, you should go left. Do what you came to do." He gets to the airlock and opens it. Beneath you see only the outer hull of the ship.

"Stand back," Ch'lana says.

From within his robe he produces a silver cylinder accented with gold. You hear a *snapHISS* and a lightsabre blade springs from the handle, humming gently. It glows a brilliant blue, and light up the tight airlock. He reverses his grip on the blade and uses it to pierce the hull. Slowly, he cuts a large-ish hole in the outer hull of the prison ship. After several seconds, the hole is cut and the plating falls inward. A couple of seconds later you hear a loud clang echo from below.

Without waiting for comment, Ch'lana extinguishes the lightsabre and drops into the hole.

Almost without hesitation, Collan followed the Jedi through the hole.

As he dropped down, he asked, "If we get through this alive. Can you find me again? I have questions."

Trax felt like he'd been hit by a speeder when he watched the old man ignite a lightsaber and cut through the hull.  Now he understood why Jex backed off so quickly.  Trax had heard stories, but figured they were blown out of proportion to make them more interesting.  Now he wasn't so sure.

Only when Collan was the first to follow through did it snap the spec back to reality.

"Damn it!  The medic doesn't go first!" he said as he jumped out of his seat and went through the hole, his blasters ripped from their holsters the moment his feet touched the ground.

Niil opened his mouth to yell at Collan for his brashness, but Trax beat him to the punch.  Gritting his teeth, Niil quickly followed Trax and motioned to the rest of his team to follow.  "What the hell, Ch'lana's been right so far.  Left it is, people.  Collan, Trax is right.  Get back to the middle of the formation."

OOC:  Okay, so we take Ch'lana's advice and go left.
