Trax - Prisoner Processing
« on: April 02, 2014, 08:29:08 AM »
How much would Trax know about rebel forces on other planets or systems?  I'm sure he'd be aware that there are some, (and I know the Senator's name would be unfamiliar), but I'm mostly asking about how well they may, or may not, be doing and if he knows where specifically it's happening.

The Senator is fairly well known, actually. He had been a vocal opponent of Chancellor Palpatine before he assumed emergency powers, and still works openly to oppose the Emperor's policies in the senate.

As to resistance on other plants, Trax wouldn't know much. He'd assume I suppose that there must be resistance on planets that have been pacified like Karvis was, but he doesn't know much. Resistance information is kept out of the newsfeeds.

Being well known and vocal makes him a good figure head for a spy/infiltrator to use.  Okay thanks.

Is the datapad uplinked to a central system?  I'm guessing it would be if Trax is supposed to be helping to verify their stories.  If/while Wyrren talks, Trax would be searching, or put in a request to a team (if there is one) to do a search on him and see if there's any video feeds or pictures of him that would help to verify his identity.

Do a search on any stories about an attack on the senator around the same time the of Wyrren's capture.

Didn't want to clutter the lightsaber thread with this so I figured I'd put it here.

If you put the time in, a week.

You guys are going to be off active duty for a bit anyway, getting skills you upped that weren't used trained anyway. We can tack it on there.

Is that only for training purposes or will it be a Command decision?

Would Trax be able to get to Cali's and back in one day?

No, you're a little too remote for that. Figure two days minimum, just travel time.

You can arrange one.

You planning on skipping the KDF with your info and going right to Cali?

Not exactly.  All the information has been entered onto the datapad so the KDF should/does have access to it.  But if they're not willing to run with the information any time soon because of the risk of exposure, then Trax will offer to do it using his resources, aka Cali.

Don't see a big reason to start an OOC thread for Trax's side trip but if you'd rather, then go ahead.  Or rename this one if that's possible.

Trax will want to stop by and see the girl he nearly killed before heading out.  Then he'll see if Geneva is up for the trip, and if not, then he'll ask Mariah.  He trusts Mariah's skills more but the last time things got really messy he kind of freaked the young girl out a bit and he knows first hand Geneva isn't afraid of combat.  After those stops he'll go share the good news with Doha.

He'll also want to talk to Jenny before he leaves HQ so he can decide if he needs to hit up Cali for the trip off world.

Other than a bounty hunter license, what other type of license would allow him to carry his pistols and what are the odds he could get something faked fairly quickly?

Regular pistols are allowed on most worlds outside the core. Heavies need a permit. Your bounty hunter license allows rifles and concealed weapons, and some explosives, but that'll be flagged.
