Lightsabres

When you guys look at the captured sabre (or if you you take your apart to look it over) the mechanism is actually quite simple. You could build one with spare parts and scrap from around the ship. But there seems to be a lot of adjustments involved, all based around the crystal. It seems the setting needs to be just right to create the correct resonance.

So the basic concept is very simple, but the devil seems to be in the details.

You get the feeling that making one would be Difficult or Very Difficult - perhaps harder.

So, a good test of a Jedi's patience, then.   :D  Can that difficulty be brought down?  And if so, how long to bump it down one DC?

Aha.  I remember there was an older post that you made that went into detail about lightsaber construction.

Yeah, you can make it easier if you take longer.
