OK, let me think about it. I'm bending the rules in allowing this in the first place, so I might hold you back a little to balance things out.

There is an inherent power differential between Jedi and non-Jedi (attack and defence is based on combined die codes) that is partly balanced out by the long ramp-up time for Jedi. I'm concerned with making you guys too powerful too quickly, and restricting power choices is a method I have for reining in your advancement.

Okay. I'm fine with that as a trade-off as well.

In which case, I could drop enhance attribute for lightsaber combat.

Here's my wish list.  I still have 4 CP left over on my character sheet.

1D in Sense skill (10 CP)
3 pips in Control (3 CP)
3 pips in Sense skill (if allowed after I've just picked up the skill; 3 CP)
1 pip in Lightsaber (5 CP)
1 pip in Lightsaber Repair (3 CP, I think?)

21 CP (pending confirmation of Lightsabre Repair).

Approved as edited.

If you guys want to post some training stuff for some minor CP awards, go ahead. For Force-related stuff, I can post a lead-in if you want.

Yup, I currently have 3D in Lightsaber Repair, so it would be 3 CP to boost it to 3D+1

As for the powers . . . are we using the Star Wars core book?  I couldn't find Combat Sense, Farseeing or Enhance Attribute anywhere.

??  I can't seem to access that link.  I get this silly message saying The server at http can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing your broswer from accessing the network.

Never mind; I found an alternate link.

So. here's what I was looking at for additional powers:

Control Pain (Control)
Force of Will (Control, if allowed) or Accelerate Healing (Control, if Force of Will isn't allowed)
Lightsaber Combat (Control/Sense)

If you wanted training in martial arts, Nightshade will be happy to teach you the basics, but it would take some RP to convince him to teach you anything advanced.  He will also be happy to spar with blades.

Guh, I've lost track of time.  How long have we been in space so far?  Niil would've started work on his training saber right after he was able to connect with the Force, and he was taking 3 weeks to build one.

Once he successfully built one, he would have then started on a real lightsaber.

You were in space 1 week before the incident.

From where you came out of hyperspace, you'll spend three more weeks in transit to Horuz.

Note there is a high difficult to building a lightsabre. Tuning it requires a delicate touch, even for a training sabre. It's even more so once you've imbued a power crystal with the Force.

Is the base one week for a real saber or a training one?
