"Damn, I really stepped into it this time, " Collan said under his breath, looking at Niil.

"I wonder what happened to him," he said to the other Jedi hopeful, "but I guess we better step across as well."

Collan stepped across the airlock as well.

To Collan's question, he muttered, "Vader."

Collan asked, "Who is he? When I was a slave I kept hearing that name in hushed tones I get that he's high up in the empire but how bad can one being me? "

He felt bad for Trax. The man had obviously been through a lot, so much so that it left him extremely on edge. Collan hoped that telling him what had happened wouldn't need him to doing something stupid and crazy.

To Collan's question, he muttered, "Vader."

[OOC: That's OOC knowledge, or at best a supposition. Trax' wounds were consistent with a lightsabre, and you might know Vader was responsible for the attack through conversation with Galen, but I don't think there's a clear line from Trax's state to Vader. Call it a theory or an educated guess.]

[OOC:  Educated guess.  Galen was talking about Vader taking the senators, and Trax started getting very antsy when he saw Niil and Collan's lightsabers.]

As you transfer to the Rogue Shadow, you see Captain Eclipse and the odd-looking humanoid droid transferring Siobhan Rand and Wyrren Doha, along with a stasis container onto Ch'lana's ship. Those interested can tell it is activated, but other than the sombre expression of Juno as she transfers the container, there's no indication as to what is inside.

Doha is unhappy about staying behind, but he recognizes in his current condition he's be more of a liability than an asset, and agrees to stay behind and man the ship. A rendez-vous point is set in case you get separated, and the air lock is closed. A moment later, Juno pulls the Rogue Shadow away, engages the cloak, and heads towards the inner system.

In the cockpit, things are tense. It only takes a few minutes before you spot a patrol of TIE fighters. Juno seems relaxed as she pulled in behind them. It seems crazy to some of you, but Galen says, "They will mask out ion trail. Sit tight, nothing can see us."

Several minutes later, the ship passes around a moon, and you see it.

At first, you think there is an undocumented moon in Horuz. For several seconds your eyes refuse to see what is actually there. Then you notice the open superstructure, like ribs growing into a sphere, and you realize this small moon is actually a space station.

Galen points to a hole in the superstructure and tells Juno, "Take us in there." She breaks away from the TIE fighters, and in a few more minutes you are flying into the structure of the station, inside the atmosphere containment field.

Galen says, "Hold here," and gets up. Juno parks the ship, and follows him.

Galen says, "They're somewhere in the station. If we go together, we don't stand a chance. I'm going in here. I'm going to cause as much damage and set off as many alarms as I can for as long as I can." He turns to look at each of you. "You need to find them, and get them to safety."

Juno says, "Am I ever going to see you again?"

Galen ignores her and says, "The rebel leaders are going to need an evac. You need to find them and get them to this ship. I'll give you as much time as I can."

Galen heads to the boarding ramp, and opens it up.

Juno just stares at him. A moment later he relents and answers her. "Probably not, no."

She considers a moment. "Then I'm unlikely to have to live this down." She hops forward a couple of steps and embraces him. They kiss for several seconds before separating. Even the unaware among you can tell how much these two love each other.

Galen says, "Good bye, Juno" He then falls backwards into the empty air, hundreds of feet above any sort of suitable landing point.

Juno wipes tears from her eyes and, without speaking, closes the boarding ramp and head to the cockpit to do what he needs her to do.

Collan can nearly feel tears in his eyes. He wished he knew the Captain better do as to comfort her.

He said, "For what it's worth, Captain, I'm sorry. But we need to make sure his sacrifice isn't in vain."

OOC:  Sorry; I missed this.  Niil's response would've come right after Collan asked:

Niil shook his head and laughed, although there was no mirth in it.  "How bad?  Vader's the Emperor's right-hand man, and a Sith Lord, too, so you can bet he's a nasty piece of work.  From what Demaia told me, he was once a Jedi Knight that turned to the Dark Side and betrayed the Jedi.  Vader's betrayal took the Jedi completely by surprise because his turn was so quick and unexpected.  He was one of the big players in carrying out Palpatine's Executive Order Sixty-Six . . . the extermination of the Jedi."  Niil's lip curled in disgust.  "From what I heard, he was the one that led the attack against the Jedi temple on Coruscant.  Slaughtered hundreds, including younglings.  Young, old, I guess it didn't matter to him."  Looking at Collan, he shrugged.  "And no, I don't know who he was before he took his current name, and Demaia didn't know, either."

He said, "For what it's worth, Captain, I'm sorry. But we need to make sure his sacrifice isn't in vain."

Collan has to follow her to the cockpit to express himself. As she settles in to the pilot's seat and throttles up the engines, he tells her what he came to say.

She only responds by saying, "I'm looking for a suitable landing position with passive sensors. You'd better get back to the boarding ramp. I'll try and set you down someplace safe, but you'll have to find the senators on your own. I can't risk scanning."

She reaches over and hands a small sphere about the size of a dime to Collan. "I can track you with this. When you've got them, head to the perimeter of the station and I'll pick you up."

Trax gave his head a bit of a shake when he saw Collan follow Juno to the cockpit.  There was a time when people just needed to be left alone, and this was definitely one of those times.

He checked his gear yet again, it was the only way to keep himself from pacing.  He knew something was off, he'd never been like this prior to going into a fight before, but he couldn't figure out what was bothering him so much.  He turned to Nim,

"We'll need to find a terminal and try to get a layout.  We both know how well I deal with computers so how about you take care of that."  He looked at the others.

"The rest of us will keep any unwanted attention focused on us."

Ch'lana grunts. "There will be more than enough of that to go around, but we can do what we can."

The engines start to whine as the ship throttles up.

Nim nodded, though wasn't overly confident about it. "For big data heists I usually hire teams to get the info I want. Sooo... this'll be interesting. Just sayin'."

Niil chuckled, but there was apprehension in his voice.  "Yeah, 'interesting' is a good word.  Get the senators out of a space station the size of a small moon, guarded by about eighty thousand troopers and two Sith lords.  This is going to require some epic focus."

Trax smiled at Nim.

"The station isn't complete, I'll bet ninety percent of the people on it need a map to get around anywhere outside of their assigned area." he said, trying to reassure her.

"Bet you dinner you get it down in less than ten seconds."
