Collan, Nightshade, Nill, Nim, Trax: Raid on Horuz

Actions: Normal move, make my way to the ladder on the left leading up to the walkways.

Sneak counts as an action. I've included that with your move this time.

Nightshade continues to move stealthily. Meanwhile. Nim Naja steps off and lands well on the deck, rolling to the left and coming up near the construction equipment.

Ch'lana crouches, gathering himself for something. Trax takes a stutter step to draw both pistols and levels them at Stormtrooper #9. As he brings his pistols up, one of the Stormtroopers takes a shot, but Trax doesn't even have to side-step it to avoid.

Niil Spaar takes a moment to clear his mind and resist the fear and anger lurking in the back of his mind.

Another Stormtrooper takes a shot at Trax, but it goes wide as well, and Trax doesn't even have to move. Two other Stormtroopers continue to close with Trax, spending their effort on closing instead of firing. Another Stormtrooper takes a shot at Trax, but the bounty hunter doesn't even blink, the shot goes so wide.

On the left walkway, one of the Stormtroopers takes a shot at Ch'lana, but the Jedi deflects it. The other Stormtrooper on the left walkway takes a shot at the Jedi, but it is also deflected.

The subject of Trax's ire continues to run forward, closing rapidly with the bounty hunter.

In the ship, Collan also takes a moment to ensure his mind is clear of anger and fear.

A final Stormtrooper takes a shot at Trax, and this one forces the bounty hunter to take a half step to avoid the shot.

Under stealth, Nightshade moves to the left edge of the construction equipment. From here he can see the ladder up to the walkway, and the stormtrooper up there shooting at Ch'lana.

Then, having gathered himself, Ch'lana suddenly explodes into movement. He flies through the air, landing neatly on the walkway within arm's reach of the second trooper on that walkway.

With his weapons out, Trax continues to march towards one of the troopers. The trooper is not at the extreme range of his blaster pistols.

From the ship, Niil leaps into the air and lands lightly on the deck.

Stormtrooper #9 drops to a knee and takes a shot at Trax as Collan steps off and lands a little rough on the desk, but still in one piece.

The Stormtrooper in front of Ch'lana brings up his rifle, but the blade doesn't even slow down as Ch'lana cuts the trooper down. He falls to the walkway, dead before he hits the grilled plating.

Ugh, still out of range, Niil thought as he sprinted toward the trooper on the eastern walkway.  "Coming with me, Collan?"


OOC:  Running for trooper # 8, and going south of the construction supplies.  If any trooper gets in Niil's firing range, he'll take a shot.

BTW, did anyone else notice how far Ch'lana jumped in a single round?  Wow . . .

[Trax]

As Trax came within the extreme range of his pistols one voice inside his head immediately screamed at him to blast the trooper, that he might be the trooper that killed Mariah!  A second voice that could barely be heard, tried to call for caution, there was the mission to think of.

The first voice won out, but his actions were at least tempered by the second voice and so he took only one shot at his target while he continued to close.

[OOC: Single shot at trooper #9, if he drops, Trax will immediately change his angle to start closing with troopers 5 and 6, otherwise he'll continue to close on 9.

Trax certainly has all eyes on him now... what an attention whore!

Nim heads right to the nearby equipment for at least some sort of cover.

"Yeah" Collan said, following Niil. They could bracket a trooper and make this go faster. Collan was starting to get concerned they'd get bogged down.

[Nightshade]

Ooc: not sure what our initiative order is, so let me know if this doesn't work.

Seeing the Jedi launch himself to the walkway changed Nightshade's plans slightly.  He had been making his way to the high ground but now he seemed to be redundant up there now.  If Ch'lana decided to finish off the trooper on the walk way, the Shinobi would work his way down the left of the room towards the rear, otherwise he would move towards the ladder and head for the walkway.

Actions: Sneak, normal move as dictated by Ch'lana, reac dodge

[OOC: Initiative changes round-to-round, but it will become clear shortly that you'll be needed up on the walkway. Ch'lana was aware of where you were headed, and he's leaving the trooper there for you.

As the skirmish in the docking bay continues, you hear a general announcement over the PA system.

"Security Alert in Zone 4. Threat upgraded to Class 3. All Primary and Secondary security personnel in Zones 3, 4 and 5 proceed immediately to your duty stations. Zones 2,3,4,5 and 6 are under lockdown." The message repeats once more.

Ch'lana crouches down again, clearly gathering himself for another dramatic action.

Nim moves to the nearest corner of the construction equipment and takes cover there, keeping her head down. Meanwhile, Niil breaks into a run towards the right, heading towards the ladder. The Stormtrooper nearest to Niil spots him and lines up a shot, but Niil moved out of sight before the trooper can pull the trigger. He keeps aiming, hoping to spot Niil when he pops out of cover.

Trax, out in the middle of the deck, lines up a shot and squeezes the firing stud. The shot hits the trooper square in the chest. He falls backwards to lie sprawled out on the deck. Trax immediately shifts his attention to the other two troopers.

The stormtrooper on the right walkway takes a shot at Trax, but the bounty hunter ignores it as the shot goes wide. The closest stormtrooper on the deck takes a shot, and that forces Trax to absently step to the left, easily forcing a miss.

The remaining trooper on the left walkway lines up a shot on Ch'lana, but the Jedi easily deflects it with his sabre.

Nigthshade moves quickly and reaches the foot of the ladder. A quick climb and he'll be within striking distance. [He'll need a double move - one to climb and one to close, but he can be at the back of the trooper next round with 2 actions. he could then be in a position to also melee attack if he wants.]

Another Stormtrooper takes a shot at Trax and misses. Then Collan breaks into a run, and heads towards the right walkway. The trooper that had been following Niil makes a slight adjustment and fires at Collan before he can make it to cover. Collan takes a stutter step, and it is enough to throw off the trooper's aim and the shot misses. Collan then reaches cover from the walkway on the right side of the bay.

The last two troopers take shots at Trax, but their shots go wide.

Ch'lana then leaps, soaring through the air. He clears the construction equipment in the way, and lands heavily several meters short of one of the troopers by the blast doors.

Well, the drek was bound to hit the fan sooner or later, Niil thought as he head the alert over the P.A.  He caught a quick peripheral glimpse of Ch'lana taking an enormous leap through the air, and the sight almost brought Niil up short.  Then the trooper on the southeast walkway took a shot at Collan, and Niil broke into a dead run, angling himself slightly away from Collan's path so the trooper would be forced to shift aim between the two of them.  Damn, still out of range.  Here's hoping their shots keep missing . . .

OOC :  I'll take a shot at trooper # 8 once I get in heavy blaster pistol range of him.

[Trax]

It was with no small amount of satisfaction that Trax watched the trooper fall backwards, but it was short lived.  As soon as his eyes locked on the next nearest trooper, the feeling of satisfaction was gone and the cycle in his mind began a new.  Maybe he was the one that killed Mariah...

The rebel quickened his pace briefly before drawing a bead on the trooper and firing off a shot.

[Nightshade]

Now was the time to strike.  The Shinobi moved swiftly and silently to bring himself up into position behind the trooper on the left walkway.  Once in place he made a single swipe with his sword to finish the trooper.

[Nim Naja]

Nim silently followed Nightshade with her eyes, watching him skulk around to presumably dispatch the nearby trooper. As soon as he did she was ready to start running to the left side and eventually to the control panel.

OOC: Holding for now, prepping to start a run if I can.

Collan followed Niil under the cover of the equipment to get a shot on stormie on the other deck. The Dark Side buzzed at him enough to distract just enough. It was a little frustrating but only a little. Collan kept his mind on the task (battling) rather than ruminate.
