Collan, Nightshade, Nill, Nim, Trax: Raid on Horuz

[Ok guys, you need to focus. I only publicly posted the locker data because I wanted to save the separate maps and PM's. Only one who thought to look for lockers was Trax. Niil is focused on the blast doors, and Collan is focused on the control room window. Neither of you spent time or actions to notice the lockers. That's OOC information.]

[Niil Spaar]

OOC:  Niil's still heading for a place where he can keep an eye on the blast doors and the control room.  He's putting on his breath mask, and snagging an Imperial blaster rifle as soon as he can reach one.

[Trax]

Trax altered his course slightly, heading for the nearest locker.  There better damn well be a vac suit in there, he thought as he pushed hard to reach his destination.

[OOC: Still doing an all out run, but heading for the nearest locker, which looks like the one along the walkway.]

[Nightshade]

Having heard Nim call out about the techs causing her trouble, Nightshade was torn between taking out the techs first and risking the stormtroopers attacking, or waiting to see if the techs stopped working to vent the hangar bay now that the broken window put them at risk also.

In the end active won out over passive and he lined up the nearest two techs to fire his stun darts.  He prepared to duck for cover once he fired.

Actions: fire two stun darts at techs, reac dodge.

[Nim Naja]

"Come on, come on!" Nim yelled some more at the panel. It wasn't about survival as much as it was personal now, with those techs pissing her off. Maybe they took her insult seriously.

[GM Craig]

Ch'lana extends a hand towards one of the stormtroopers and takes a breath. The Stormtrooper on the right moves to flank Nightshade, while his partner opens fire. The shot goes just wide.

Niil heads towards one of the downed troopers, keeping an eye on the control room and another on the blast doors, while Nim struggles digitally with the four techs. She's loosing ground, but still managing to delay them.

On the deck, Collan takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a moment, reaching for the Force. He can feel the force, and it blocks out everything else around him. He opens his eyes just as a trooper head comes into view in a window above him.

Trax adjust course on his sprint, and heads to one of the storage lockers spread out over the landing bay while Nighshade raises a hand. A small dart flies out from the bracer, striking the nearest tech in the neck. The tech starts to convulse violently and falls to the floor unconscious.

Ch'lana then throws his lightsabre. The blade spins as it sails through the air, entering the window, the spinning of the blade synchronized so that it goes around Nightshade's head, where the blade strikes the trooper by the doorway. The blade slashes the stormtrooper across the chest, and he goes down. The lightsabre then flies out of the window and unerringly back to Ch'lana's hand.

The Stormtrooper on Nightshade's flank raises he rifle and fires. Nightshade manages to twist out of the way and barely avoids the shot.

Collan releases his held breath and fires. The shot his dead centre of the reinforced transparisteel, somehow manages to punch through the window, and hits the trooper on the helmet. There is not enough oomph left to do any significant damage, but the trooper did get his bell rung.

Nightshade adjusts his aim and fires a second neural dart. The dart hits and the tech slumps to the floor as his body spasms. A moment later he is unconscious.

[Well, not clean - he's still only a head in a window, and you only did enough damage to punch through the window, not take it out.]

[Niil Spaar]

Seeing the trooper that Collan fired at, Niil brought the blaster rifle to a firing position.  He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, and focused on blotting out all the other distractions going on around him.  Nothing else mattered at that point in time except his target.  Letting the Force guide his aim, Niil squeezed the trigger.


OOC:  Trying to use Concentrate and taking one blaster rifle shot against the same trooper that Collan shot at.

[Trax]

Trax slung the rifle he was carrying just before he half stopped, half crashed into the locker doors.  Flinging the doors open he took a quick stock of what was inside; four vacuum suits, pair of medkits, a tool kit, 2 suit power packs, some spare oxygen canisters and an emergency atmospheric containment field generator.  The rebel tried to recall what he knew about the generator, small bubble, 3 people was pushing it, but it would be big enough to protect Nim and she could still work at the panel, provided she could work while kneeling.  At the very least it would buy her time to get a suit on.

Grabbing the generator and if he could 2 suits, but 1 at the very least, he turned and continued his run towards Nim.

[OOC: I'm guessing the most I can do this round is reach the locker and grab the gear, but just in case.]

[Collan]

Collan felt a rush of joy as the Force had flowed through him. He focused though on the calm though the Dark Side's buzz hadn't abated. He sought that calm place again to gain focus and take another shot at the stormtrooper.

[concentration on blaster again. This time I take the shot no matter what. Blaster Clip: 1 shot. Rifle: 2 shots]

[Nightshade]

Nightshade threw himself into a forward roll towards the trooper, both to throw off the aim of his enemy and keep himself out of the way of any other lucky blaster shots coming through the window.  As he finished the roll he lashed out once with each blade.

[Nim Naja]

Sweat was beginning to bead on Nim?s brow. Her heart-rate was almost matching the rhythm of the countdown. The stress and panic were beginning to rise and with everyone else everywhere else she was alone again.

?Not now, Alexa, I?m still pissed at you,? Nim growled and slammed the panel with a palm. She looked at Buzz as if the little sphere was somehow judging her. ?You were there, Buzz. Allie let that girl die. She was right.. there. She could have saved her, like she did everyone else, but didn?t.?

Her hands were beginning to tremble, but the infochant tried the routine again. She didn?t care about the dying part, but to have the whole team spaced and the senators lost because of her ineptitude was too much.
