"Analgesic first," Collan said, "Then muscle relaxant. Stim last. Check for interactions as we go."

"Got it."  Niil quickly swiped up the injectors in question, and administered the analgesic first in Collan's upper arm.  "I won't give you a full dose of this 'cause you're already loopy, and I don't want your metabolism going into civil war when I hit you with the stimulant."

OOC:  Keep a close check on Collan's vitals as I follow his instructions.  Analgesic first, then muscle relaxant, then stim.  If Niil is able to, he'll use Concentrate with First Aid.  I'd also advise Collan to spend a FP and try to use for Force to clear out all of the toxins in his system (if he had a FP left, that is).

While the Jedi were working on the cure for Collan, Nightshade decided to go open the other cell door and see if there was anyone else useful on the other side for a potential fight with the guards about to break through the door.

Niil gets to work as a medic, while Ch'lana assists. First the analgesic.

As Niil works, he notices even a gentle touch seems to elicit a strong pain response from Collan, so pain killers is probably a good first step.

He takes a few moments to prepare himself, and using the Force to block out all distractions, administers the drugs.

Collan feels the pain recede from him, and a wave of relief washes over him. He hadn't realized how much pain he had been in until to was gone.

Collan's vitals are still unstable, but his heart rate is calming down at least.

[next step same plan? Concentrate, round to prepare, Ch'lana assisting?]

While the Jedi were working on the cure for Collan, Nightshade decided to go open the other cell door and see if there was anyone else useful on the other side for a potential fight with the guards about to break through the door.

As the sound of a cutting torch starts to echo down the cell bay, Nightshade goes to the only other occupied cell. Without hesitation, he opens it.

Bound within an energy field Nightshade sees a young female Zabrak with pale, almost grey skin, and short black hair. Her horns are red. She opens her eyes, revealing red irises. Nightshade can see fear in her eyes - no, more than that. Terror. But then she seems to realize something, and her expression changes to one of confusion.

"Ah!" She winces and gasps in pain. "You are not Imperial. Who are you?" she asks in Basic. Her voice is strained from resisting the pain cuffs.

Niil watched Collan's heart rate drop considerably, and breathed a sigh of relief.  "Frakking nerve amplifier drugs and Imperial torturers.  And they call us the dregs of the galaxy,"  Nill muttered savagely as he prepare the muscle relaxant shot next.  "Next one coming up, Collan."

OOC:  Yup.  Concentrate and First Aid with the muscle relaxant.  I want to monitor this one closely so I don't turn Collan into a boneless chicken.   ;)

"Someone who is taking the fight to the Imperials and freeing their prisoners...are you interested in either one?"

She gasps again, obviously resisting pain. "Free me," she says. There is a pleading tone to her voice.

"Please..."

While it was often the case that the enemy of your enemy may be your friend, Nightshade didn't let his guard down as he freed the alien.  Standing back he watched to see what she would do next.

Freed from the energy field and the pain cuffs, she rubs her wrists with trembling hands. Her legs look to be on the verge of giving out.

"Days I've been here. I never thought I would get out of here. Thanks."

She pauses, seemingly considering something.

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. You notice her colour returning, and her trembling stops. When she opens her eyes, she has the look of a predator, though you do not seem to be her prey.

"What is your name?" Without waiting for an answer, she steps to the door of the cell and glances out carefully. You notice in her furtive movements someone trained in the art of remaining unseen. Though she is certainly no practitioner of The Way of Shadow, she appears to be no stranger to striking from the shadows.

OOC:  Oh, hell.  I wonder if she's who I think she is . . .  ;D

"I am Nightshade," the Shinobi gave her his customary bow of respect for outsiders.  "And you?"

She looks you over carefully before answering. You recognize a warrior's appraisal in her eyes. She notes the blades on your back, notes their condition and evidence of frequent use. She likely surmises a few hidden weapons, and takes note of your stance.

She takes a breath and answers, "Maris."

She has the stance of a warrior ready for action, but she's not doing anything overtly hostile.

"You have a way off this station." It is not a question. "I'm with you, at least until we're off. Good enough?"

You apply the muscle relaxant, but there is either a drug interaction or you overdid it. The spasms and cramping of Collan's muscles stop, but he's a little floppy in his limbs.

Still, feeling better overall. [-2 on any checks requiring muscular movement (fighting, dodging, moving, etc.)]

Your conversation with Maris is cut short. You hear the sound of multiple voices screaming on the other side of the door, and what sounds like a power conduit rupture.
