Collan, Niil, Nightshade: And then there were four

BTW, did we by chance see where the Imps took our captured gear to (ie. room, locker, etc.)?

The four of you head to the door. It takes a moment before the door panel gets unlocked, and you activate it, weapons ready.

The door slides open to reveal five red-armoured troopers sprawled on the deck. Smoke still rises from some of the bodies, and they have scoring on their armour consistent with electrical burns. However, at least three of them have burned pierce wounds that are consistent with a lightsabre.

The shimmering sphere of the stealthed droid drops down in front of you, beeps twice and floats off down a corridor.

As you move to follow, you hear the sounds of distant fighting, and flashes of light coming from the direction of the throne.

[Collan]

Collan said, "Throne room...the Senators...they're there. Need to rescue them."

He managed to get it out through the fuzziness in his head and the exhaustion.

[GM Craig]

Comlink: "Yeah.. it was the strangest thing. I replayed the vid and it looked like tall, dark, and spooky suddenly showed up out of nowhere and fried them all. I can't confirm it was him though. It was over in a flash and they disappeared. And.. okay, no shooting female zabraks. Got it. I'll have Buzz scout the way to Max for you."

[Collan]

Collan managed to get out, "The Emperor is here...but I think he might be fully occupied," he leaned on Niil for support, barely able to stand and exhausted more than he'd ever thought he could be.

"Ch'lana...you'll have to teach me how to handle fatigue better," he noted to the older man, "I"m wiped."

Truly he was. The intensity and burning feeling of the Dark Side's lure was gone now...its buzz was back, but it no longer sang its seduction harmonies when he'd been talking with the Emperor. The pain had burned that away at least.

[Niil Spaar]

OOC:  Sorry for the late post.  We had our Champions game tonight.   


"Thanks, Nim.  Stay frosty; we'll be there as quick as we can. Niil out."  So, Galen was still in the fight, was he?  We might have a good chance to get the senators out of here after all.  Still, he was disturbed to see that some of the red-armored troopers had been struck with electrical discharges.  Force Lightning, from the way Nim described events.  Only those strong in the Dark side would be able to do that.

Nill wordlessly scooped up a pair of blaster pistols from the dead guards in case Trax was unarmed (OOC: or blaster rifle if they don't have pistols), then led the way with his blaster up and ready.  This was going to get very nasty and very quickly.

[Nightshade]

Nightshade ghosted along behind the group a few paces back and to the left.  With Buzz in front to scout, it was probably a good idea to have someone watch their back trail also...trouble would be coming from multiple directions in here, more than likely.
