Canada Day!

CANADA DAY!

Yeah, hitting the Osborne Street Festival today, and then it's off to The Forks for big badda boomskies (fireworks) and The Mariachi Ghost!

And for all the locals that are interested, the Manitoba Highland Gathering's having it's 50th anniversary this Saturday and Sunday in East Selkirk (see website and map for details).  Alba gu brath!

Grahhh.  Tried hitting the Osborne street fest, but diddly-squat for parking anywhere.  Goin' back later on when I can actually get within 2 miles of it.   :P

They'd be putting EMS out of business on the busiest weekend of the year. :)

Aside, we may have a statewide ban on fireworks due to very dry conditions. Not that anyone would actually heed that ban, of course.
