Nim and Trax: Visit from Major Antilles

[GM Craig]

He returns a couple of minutes later, a curious smile on his face. "Well, what have you become convinced about?"

[Nim Naja]

"I've been thinking about it for years, actually," she started. "But it's only now that I have the opportunity. However, I wasn't going to ask because our future with the alliance was uncertain."

Nim looked to Trax and smiled before turning back to the Major." It isn't anymore. So while the docs are fiddlin' around with my noggin, I'd like a chip implanted as well. I'm convinced it's the right thing to do, at the right time for the right cause."

[Trax]

Trax raised an eyebrow, it was the only visible sign of his surprise.  The man remained quiet, interested in seeing the Major's reaction.

[GM Craig]

Major Antilles raises an eyebrow. What sort of chip, exactly?"

[Nim Naja]

"I haven't done any window shopping in a while, so I'd like to look at the options, but I'm thinking of a computer interface. Some sort of tech enhancement. I'm an infochant by trade, and I tend to hire out for big data heists, but it's do-it-yourself season for the alliance."

[GM Craig]

He purses his lips in thought. "Do you mean a data interface? A wireless interface for network access, hard-wired into your brain? Or more of a slicing enhancement?"

[Nim Naja]

Her lips quirked as her eyes twinkled. "Yes."

[GM Craig]

He considers. "It is possible. I'll make arrangements for you to meet a cyberneticist."

He makes a note on his datapad.

"You mentioned your future with the alliance was uncertain, but it no longer is? Has something changed in that regard? I'm still setting up a meeting for you."

[Nim Naja]

She smiled in return. "Well, It wasn't a matter of if, but a matter of when. That has been resolved so yes, please do arrange the meeting. Preferably before we tinker around."

[GM Craig]

[Considering warping. You guys up for that?]

[Nim Naja]

(Yup)

[Trax]

OOC: That works but there are a few other points I'd like covered which can be done behind the scenes. Mariah's body needs to get back to Karvis. Trax would also like to try to make contact with what's left of the rebels to get a status update and provide one (that he won't be returning anytime soon, Rand's condition, Mariah, and that it'll be some time before they'll be able to meet their new friends) inform them Nightshade is coming and that he's looking for the royals, and arrange for to get the funds offered by Organa to them.

OOC: Would I be able to look up any bounties on them from there? Are there possible consequences for doing so?

[Nightshade]

If it fits in with your story, Craig, and Trax would entrust Nightshade with such precious cargo, I would be happy to see Mariah and the cash to Karvis with me.
