She raised an eyebrow slightly at Trax's comment about asking questions, halfway curious but not curious at the same time.
"It said join/help the rebellion", she answered.
She didn't look at him. She didn't know his whole deal about not wanting to join, but she knew he had a problem with it and so far had refused to do so. She was again nervous about his reaction at hearing that she had joined up.
"Trax, this place is beautiful. I've never felt so at peace and relaxed in my life. It's like a dream."
She smiled for a second, thinking about the gardens.
"But there's been so much death. And there's thousands of 'mes' out there that had the same thing happen to them, or something similar as happened to me. Only they weren't lucky enough to get the chance to crash in on the party of some crazy invasion force and hitch a ride out of there."
"And even though they decided here that there was no point in fighting, that the fighting hasn't accomplished anything other than death....."
She stopped for a second and shrugged.
"The galaxy doesn't stop just because they've decided not to fight, does it? Someone, at some point, is still going to attach this world, and any other world like it who decides to not fight. Because the Empire doesn't seem to care if others are playing their game or not, they just go on playing anyway..."
Again she scuffed her toe at the floor shrugging and waiting for his reply.
