This is a big project. You need a total of 1000 points to complete the whole thing and get water running. However long it takes you to generate those 1000 points is how long it takes.
You have two techs that each will generate 3d6 points every 8 hours. You have two droids that can each give someone a +1D to their contribution, but cannot work independently. You generate 4d6 points every 8 hours, based on your Technical skill.
CP expenditures can increase the points earned for one 8-hour period by 1D per CP. Force points will double the points earned for any 8-hour period.
There may be random events that affect point production either positively or negatively.
