Jex: Meeting with Major Tibbero

[GM Craig]

A few days after returning with your new defector, Jex's meeting with Major Tibbero comes up in the Major's schedule.

Jex shows up at the appointed time to find Major Tibbero, working with about half a dozen datapads, apparently simultaneously. He looks up as you pull the curtain aside.

"Trooper Koneth. Come in, have a seat." The offered seat has been upgraded from a barrel to a packing crate.

"Have you given any thought to the offer of a commission?"

[Jex]

"I have. I am willing to accept this honour."

Jex gives the major a rueful grin,

"I just hope all of us know what we are doing."

[GM Craig]

Tibbero nods. I'll have the papers drawn up for royal signature. You'll be on command of the spec's, though if you take my advice, you'll let them have their head. They seem to get much more done when someone isn't telling them what to do. There likely won't be a big assembly for your promotion -  we have something big in the works. Speaking of which, I want the team assembled in the north briefing room at 1400.

"Unless you have something else, you're dismissed."

[OOC: 1400 will be in about an hour.]

[Jex]

"Yes, sir."

Kendrick goes to make his preparations.

As he walks through the halls, he sends a message to the other Spec's.

'Gentlemen, and Trax, we have a meeting in the north briefing room 1400. Voluntary attendance is compulsory. See you there.'
