Trax let Collan take the pikes and he bent down to pick the woman up.

"Don't get too used to this." he said, his voice sounding serious enough but there was a note of humor in there as well.

Giving a nod to the woman he answered her question.

"Niil let him on the ship," Trax indicated the old man, "So I figure he can't complain if I let you on."

She holds up a hand weakly. When you take it, her skin feels like parchment, and her hand is so brittle you worry you might crush it.

"I am Demaia Rhysode."

[OOC: The name doesn't ring any bells.]

Feeling her hand Trax knelt down even lower and gently place her arm around his neck.  Sliding one arm under her and the other around her just above her waist he gently cradled her as he stood up.

[OOC: Trax doesn't have any questions or comments, he'll just play shuttle service right now.  If anything comes up I'll post.

Sorry, I thought the hand was held out to Trax.  Never mind.]

Collan took her hand gently.

"Collan Rostiern."

"I am pleased to meet you." She looks at Trax, and accepts help. She is still too weak to walk on her own, even with assistance, so Trax ends up carrying her again.

Niil catches up with you about the time you reach your team. Corporal Thadric reports that the surviving Imperials have been no trouble.

Even if you leave the Imperials here, you have two badly wounded troopers to carry, and Rhaekoth's body as well, unless you wish to leave it behind.

While your troops get ready to move and get the wounded mobile, Demaia looks at Ch'lana. "Young man, don't you think it is time you disarm the bomb you are carrying?"

A look of surprise flashes across Ch'lana's face, but it vanishes quickly. Sloely he reaches inside his tunic and pulls out a large, armed, thermal detonator. The device has some sort of attachment you do not recognize. It looks hand made. Ch'lana thumbs in a quick code on the detonator, and it switches from armed to disarmed.

The size of the charge he holds in his hands would vaporize an area about a hundred feet in diameter.

Collan was alarmed at the presence of that amount of explosives near them...and armed. But...that also explained how Ch'lana expected to die.

At the same time, he was focused on getting wounded ready to move. Two mortally wounded soldiers needed in depth care in a medbay...much more than he could provide on site.

"We need to bring Rhaekoth's body with us...and we should scavenge as much materi?l as possible, especially the armor. It might prove useful some time."

Trax fought hard to suppress a smile.  He liked the old woman.  Then it suddenly dawned on him.  Was she routing around in his head as well?  Thinking about it for a few moments he decided that if she was, there was likely nothing of importance or interest to find.

He then turned his attention to the rest of the scene around him.

"Collan's right, no one gets left behind.

Collan, see if you can tie those pikes together and make a sling for them so they don't take up any hands.  You can throw them over my shoulder if it works.

For everything else, focus on their blasters first.  As useful as the armor might be at some point, the blasters will be useful at every point."

Trax turned to Thadric.

"Any luck getting the comms up?"

[OOC: And don't forget about Geneva.  Or is she up and moving on her own already?]

Niil managed to suppress a laugh at the look on Ch'lana's face when  - what was her name? - Demaia queried him about the bomb he was carrying.  Yes, this day was just swarming with Jedi, wasn't it?  Speaking of Jedi . . .

"Master Ch'lana, do you know if there's a landing bay nearby where we can safely dock our shuttle?  We've got some badly wounded people here, and I'd rather not take them through that crawl-space we came here through if we can help it."
"There is a Force common to all life-forms, a dynamic beauty in which an ultimate symmetry of context reveals itself to . . . oh, frak, the holorecorder battery is running out!  Jex, see if there's another battery in-"  - Niil Spaar, Philosophising on a Saturday Night:  The Karvis Jedi Academy

Collan nodded. He wanted to get out of here with the team and get Geneva and the others to a real medbay for some treatment.

"Demaia...do mind if I check your vitals and check you out? The cellblock was sub-lifesustaining."

She nods to Collan, indicating her acquiescence. As Collan goes to work, she closes her eyes.

Several seconds later, she opens them, and looks at Connor.

"There is an escape hatch not far down the passage, but it has been trapped with explosive. You will need to disarm the explosives in order to dock safely. Unless you have someone with demolitions experience, your safest route would be through the crawlspace."

[OOC: She is badly malnourished, but otherwise she doesn't seem to be suffering from extended hypoxia.]

She looks at Collan for a moment before answering. "Through the Force I am able to see things. It showed me the path to the escape hatch, and the danger of the explosives."

"Okay, so we have something of small problem then.  Getting back up through the hatch would be difficult enough without carrying wounded personnel, the easiest way to get out is rigged to blow and our slicer is down for the count.

The original strike team got on board just fine, can we make our way to them?"

Ch'lana shakes his head. "They are still encountering resistance. We would have to fight out way to them. We can make it through the crawlspace."
