Downtime
« on: April 07, 2014, 11:44:21 AM »
OK, I figure Niil is down for 26 days (training and building a training sabre).
I put Collan down for 19 days (training and building a sabre).
Trax also has some downtime coming, but he doesn't have any training planned, so if Trax wants to start working on Resist Force, he could do that.

Trax doesn't have enough cps to bump up Resist Force, unless you're willing to allow the training now and cp expenditure later.  But even with that, by my count Trax would be out of action for 12 weeks.

Collan will also be working with Demaia to see how much of his memory can be restored...

I guess it's a safe bet that Niil wouldn't have enough downtime for a trip to the Bladesea?

Depends on what is going on. You guys have earned some downtime. You could change around some of the skills you paid for that require training to tighten up the time.

Okay, what if I put the following on the back-burner (ie. pay for them, but train in them when I have the time):

Lifting
Sensors
Cultures

Would that be enough?

Should I start the "Demaia Helps Collan" thread?

Lifting you used.
Sensors and Cultures are in need of training time, 1 day per Cp spent.

It's not an issue for me if you spend time training - you guys have earned a month off.

I'm not sure Trax will be willing to take that much time off.

What if I went on the road trip first, and trained with whatever time I had left when I got back?  I'd still like to go for that skill set that I requested, but I realize that I might not have the time to train for all of it when the trip is factored in.

Could we do that, and reset some of Niil's skill stats to pre-prison ship mission (and CP refunds) stats for the skills he didn't have time for?

If I remember correctly about our time spent in the Bladesea you're probably looking at about a month round trip.  Repulsor vehicles don't work there so all transportation is by crawler.  And that's assuming you know where the old man is.  The Bladesea is huge and there were unmarked settlements/homesteads all over the place.

Oh no.  Collan's going to want to try and save his dad isn't he...

One hell of a back story though.
