Map for you guys. Arrows point up. The stairs on the left come up from below, the stairs on the right go to the next level.

Bad guys behind each pillar.

Black space is a five-deck drop.

Feel free to edit your actions based on the map. You will enter the floor from the stairway on the left.

5 of them; 3 of us. We should take down the three closest to us with stun grenades...or try to. Then we can gang up on the other two.

If Trax is going to have any hope of hitting with the vibroblade he's going to need to sneak up to his target.  He'll only be rolling 4D, max 6D with cps, and I'm guessing these guys would have no problem parrying that attack.  And if we alert all 5 to our presence and they decide to deal with us I think we're screwed.

Why is Trax using a vibroblade? Heavy Blaster Pistol is his best attack skill.

Yeah...I don't think we should go to hand to hand with these guys. I'd prefer to handle them at mid-range.

The thought behind it was that part of the reason the last guy was so hard to bring down was the blasters just weren't doing enough damage.

Well...we could always take a moment if our sneak is good to aim...

That won't help the damage roll though.

But the more we discuss this and the more I think about it the more nervous I get about going into melee with one of these guys.

Stun grenades should help...also they may not be wearing armor...

I think only jedi have egos big enough to think they don't need to wear armor :)

The other option is just to pour enough concentrated firepower into one target at a time (when possible) and bring their Dodge roll down to bupkus.

4D?  Oops!  I thought you and Jex were both vibroblade gods.  Okay, that changes things.  Blasters it is.

I've edited my previous IC post to draw both blasters before we move.  I guess once we have a clear line of fire we let him have it?

So...

1. Sneak
2. Stun grenades
3. Blast em!
