That's my one grip with Star Wars Rebels and the teasers so far for EPVII...no pilot would fly a TIE into an atmosphere like that...it's suicide.

But it's space opera not hard scifi...

He was on a balcony off the second level of the dugout. There is a ladder near where he is, and a lift on the right side of the dugout.

This lift . . . is it enclosed, or open?  And does it have an escape/access hatch in the ceiling?

And, if it does have an escape/access hatch, would I have time to pop it and scramble to the lift's roof before the lift stops?

Supports look too sturdy for a regular blaster. Not enough oomph. But you can certainly keep his head down and make it easier for Niil.

[Perception] There is a power conduit over his head - you might be able to blast that and distract him, maybe even cause some damage.

You guys are still on stun, yes?

No, in fact makes an overload more likely.

You're not sure the conduit is energized - the dugout looks abandoned after all, but it's something.
