Just considering a few options.   ;)  If needed, would a fighter be able to take down a gun platform with it's cannons if the paltform's shields were down?

It'd take a while, or a lucky shot.

These repulsor generators . . . would the platform still be able to stay aloft on one or two of them?  I'm thinking that blasting all four of them simultaneously would be a monumentally bad idea, considering how high up we are.

Corey, what's Collan's computer programming skill?  It was blank on your CS.

It's 2d. What's the DC for building a bomb with a timer from powerpacks, Craig?

Niil had 3D+1.  Even if he used Concentrate (if it's only one Computer programming roll, that is), he'd be 7D+1, and I have no idea how long that would take, or if it would be good enough.  He'd be a sitting duck for anyone that wanted to take a potshot at him.   :P

I'm leaning toward blasterizing the snot out of two or three of generators and the two control panels, but only if we have a reasonable chance of getting out before the platform starts to go out of control or drop.

I miss demo charges . . .  :'(

You also have a really effective knife...

Plunging a lightsabre into the control cluster would likely have a detrimental effect on the generators. :)

Well you're not asking for much are you.  I assume you'd like it to hit every other platform as it goes down too? :)

Can we get a feel if this gun platform will stabilize itself (ie. stop spinning around)?

Yeah, it's starting to stabilize as they adjust power output to compensate for the destroyed generators.

That'll go all to hell when you blow the next one.

May the Force give us a relatively stable platform and good balance . . .  ;D

Darren...any thoughts on fast takedowns? If we had charges...east squeezey...

Otherwise, we could slice the barrel apart?

No idea on fast takedowns with the equipment we have.  I'd prefer to avoid the engineering areas again unless one of us cares to try a computer programming/concentrate combination.  And after what happened on the last one, they'll have considerably more guards in the engine room.

So yeah, I guess go for the bridges and blast/slice the beejesus out of the fire control and/or power feed to the turbolaster

Could go up to the power core that drives the guns. No power, no turbolaser fire.
