Niil grinned broadly upon hearing Master Oban's admission.  Maybe, in due time, General Kota's sight and connection to the Force could be restored after all.  "The Force willing, Master Oban, we shall not let your vast knowledge of healing be forgotten.  You have my gratitude."

OOC:  Ready to move on for my part.

[ooc: not sure what else to do here...so I'm ready to move on]

"Thank you Master Oban. Would you be able to describe that method to us before we go?'

She raises an eyebrow. "It is a technique of some complexity, and would take some time to describe in detail. However, in general terms you treat it similar to a poison in that the healer must draw the darkness into themselves. That should heal the afflicted, or at least allow the injury to be healed normally. As as with sucking venom from a wound, the healer then must purge the darkness from themselves. It is much more complicated than that, of course, but in broad strokes that is the process."

Without much else to do, and with Sláine lingering for several minutes as the two of you emerge into the sunlight.

Your Ysanna tribemates smile when they see you. <You have been successful, it shines out of you like a lantern.>

Before you can respond, you hear the distant sound of sublight engines and the whine of repulsors, some distance off to the south. You look quickly, but can see nothing beyond he hills and rocks.

Niil peered intently toward the south, and checked a sigh.  It was likely that their dour pilot had returned, but he couldn't say with any certainty.  Turning back to his adopted family, he smiled and replied, "<A start, my brothers and sisters, but a good one, I think.  Yes.>"

His smile faded somewhat, and he shrugged.  "<Regrettably I think that our time to leave draws near.  This time, that is."  He chuckled, and opened his arms to encompass the tribe.     "<You have accepted Collan and I as part of you, and for us I can't imagine a greater honor.  You are the guardians of the Jedi lore, and I think the embodiment of what being a Jedi means.  The Force willing, Collan and I will return here - and hopefully soon.>"

He took a few steps forward, and spoke to Sibarra and the elder in a lower voice.  "<And with your permission, Elder, I'll see that General Kota learns of the tribe that's been attacking the others.  Perhaps he'll have some wisdom to impart on us about restoring the balance.>"  Shooting a glance at the nearby clifftops where the hostile tribe likely had warriors watching them, he spoke again with concern.  "<Do you think that they'll cause our tribe trouble because of our visit here?>"

Collan mentally calculated the number of days they been on Ossus and approximately how long it might take his father to get here.

<Niil...that might be our ride or it might be the Empire. The Sith...my father...is looking for us; let's not forget that. We used the Force...me especially...and hopefully the energies of the planet plus the debris field washed it out but let's not throw caution to the wind. Let's investigate and proceed accordingly.>

[I'd like us to proceed as if it's Darth Banen or allies...hoping it's our pilot...otherwise...I'm good to go]

Niil nodded.  "<Sorry, Collan . . . I didn't mean to suggest that we be careless in our vigilance.  The tribe that our brothers and sisters spoke of is more than enough for me to be on guard.  Yes, let's scout out this ship and observe it first.  Even if it is our ride, there's no telling if he's alone."

(OOC:  I'm thinking we'll need to go back to our tribe's holdings first regardless.  If that ship's touched down in the irradiated zone, we'll probably need our hostile environmental gear first.)

Niil's brows furrowed in thought for a few moments.  "<Sibarra . . . that might be our ship setting down to the south.  I see that some areas on this planet are not affected by the Cron radiation.  How far south could Collan and I travel without protective suits?>"

It was then that Niil realized that the Ysanna had returned their gear to them.  Including their communicators.  Before Sibarra could respond, he shook his head and chuckled, "<Oh, how stupid of me.  Sibarra, my apologies for interrupting you, but I'd like to try contacting our pilot first with my communicator.  Will that be all right?>"
